Who We Are

Casper’s is licensed for 41 spaces, fulltime and daily is available. Our Staff is dedicated to providing all children with age appropriate activities to focus on their social, emotional, intellectual, creative, spiritual and physical skill developments. We have been providing care for the Carrot River area since 2006. We offer a early introversion program that supports child with mild, moderate or intense needs. Our program works with different professionals involved in the child’s and families lives to create an individualized program plan to support the child’s holistic developmental needs. Our program includes a well balance day that includes inside and outside play, and high and low energy activities. We provide a come and go breakfast in the morning from 7:30-9:00, lunch at 11, afternoon snack at 2pm. Our meals follow the Canada food guide. We are a nut and fish free facility. We follow the Play and Exploration guidelines as well as the Reggio Emilia Approach to Early Learning. We also follow The Child Care Regulations, 2015, and The Child Care Act, 2014.

Casper’s accepts children from 6 weeks of age to 12 years of age. All our staff are trained in Early Childhood Education and First Aid CPR. Staff are required to attend Professional Development opportunities to stay up to date on best practice for our early learning programs.

Casper’s is a Non-Profit, Charitable organization that is operated by a Parent Board of Directors. Being a licensed facility it allows parents to access subsidy and supplements childcare fees.
