Staff also receive essential certifications such as First Aid, Food Safe, and Early Childhood Education (ECE). With Casper’s support, you can achieve your ECE Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 diploma.

We offer a variety of roles, including educators, custodians, and cooks, with both full-time and part-time opportunities. Shifts are 8 hours, Monday to Friday, scheduled between 6:15 AM and 6:00 PM to ensure proper staffing ratios.

​

All new staff begin with a 6-month probation period. Upon successful completion, employees are eligible for health, dental, and vision benefits.

What experience is needed?

At Casper’s no experience is needed to start. Within a year you will have to obtain your level 1 certification and first-aid and CPR.

You will have to come with a love for children, be passionate and caring and the willing to learn every day!

​

Casper’s needs to have a percentage of level 1,2, and 3’s to ensure our licensing requirements are met.

Early Childhood Educator

Job Description 

Reporting to the Director, the Early Childhood Educator is responsible for providing a safe and stimulating environment where children can develop to their potential: physically, emotionally, intellectually, socially, and creatively.

- Provide for the needs of the Whole Child

- Plan, Implement, and Evaluate the Program

- Interact with Parents

- Professional Development 

- Daily Responsibilities 

​

​ECE workers are responsible for the planning and implementing of a daycare program that supports the philosophy of the centre and adheres to the Daycare Regulations. ECE’s will also be expected to complete any other duties requested by the Director, Assistant Director, or Floor Supervisor.
