Early Learning
and Child Care Consultant

Each licensed facility has a consultant that enforces The Child Care Act, 2014, The Child Care Regulations, 2015, and to promote quality care of children in Saskatchewan. The consultant approves and provides the Licensing agreement for facilities annually, monitors that licensing requirements are met, conducts inspections, addresses non-compliance issues when they are reported, and ensures that information is communicated and available to the public. The consultant attends at least 2 board meetings per year. The consultant provides support and information about grants that are available for the facilities.
